Today Neha announced it is pushing back its written submission deadline from March 14 to April 11. Women, Two-Spirit, trans, and gender-diverse people in Canada have more time to send in testimony to the human rights review panel, Neha.
The Neha review panel is examining the right to safe, adequate and affordable housing for women, Two Spirit, Trans, and gender-diverse people, and the government’s duty to uphold this right. Neha will make recommendations directly to the federal Minister responsible for housing about actions the government must take to address the issue.
There are two types of written submissions. You can fill out an individual written submission form or send in a report to Neha.
As an Individual
There are three ways to share your submission:
1. Online Submission
- Complete the online form.
- Please note: The form must be completed and submitted in one sitting, and attachments cannot be uploaded. For those who want to submit an attachment (e.g. Organizations, researchers, etc. who wish to submit reports can do so by email).
2. Email Submission
- Download the form from here.
- Complete it either in the text box provided or as a separate attachment.
- Email your submission to [email protected].
3. Mail Submission
- Download, print, and complete the form.
- Responses can be handwritten or typed.

Submit a Report
Are you a researcher, organization, or advocacy group working to advance housing justice for women, Two-Spirit, and gender-diverse people? The Neha Review Panel on the right to housing for women, Two-Spirit, and gender-diverse people wants to hear from you!
If you’re submitting a report to the panel, you must complete a Email Report Summary Form to accompany your submission. This form ensures that your research, lived experience insights, and policy recommendations are clearly documented and considered in the review process.
