The deadline is here!
If you’ve been thinking about sharing your story, now is the time — written submissions for the National Housing Council’s Neha Review Panel are due today, April 11.
We’re calling on women, Two-Spirit, trans, and gender-diverse people who have lived through housing precarity, homelessness, or encampment displacement to speak up and be heard. Your experiences matter — and they can directly shape policy and push for justice.
This is your chance to share what needs to change in order for Canada to realize the right to housing for women, Two-Spirit, and gender-diverse people. Your voice is powerful. Your story can make a difference.
Are You an Advocacy Group, Network, or Organization?
If your organization is working on housing, homelessness, human rights, or related issues — and especially if your work centres women, Two-Spirit, and gender-diverse people — there’s still time to submit.
You don’t have to create something new from scratch. If you already have:
- A report,
- Research,
- A policy brief,
- Testimony, or
- Any existing document that reflects the realities and rights of women and gender-diverse people experiencing homelessness or displacement.
Please send it in by April 11.
Collective and organizational voices are a crucial part of this conversation — and your input will help build a stronger case for action.
How to Submit
If you’re submitting a report to the panel, you must complete a Email Report Summary Form to accompany your submission. This form ensures that your research, lived experience insights, and policy recommendations are clearly documented and considered in the review process.

Neha is reviewing the right to housing for women, Two-Spirit, and gender-diverse people, and Canada’s duty to uphold that right. We know these decisions have life-or-death consequences.
Let’s make sure that the voices of those most impacted are front and centre.
