Webinar Recording: How to Make a Submission to the National Housing Council

Yesterday, we had an inspiring webinar hosted by the Accessible Housing Network and the Women’s National Housing and Homelessness Network. Together, we explored how to make your voice heard through submissions to the human rights review panel on the right to housing women, Two-Spirit, and gender-diverse people. Making a submission to the review panel is taking a step toward creating meaningful change for women, gender-diverse people, mothers with disabilities, and mothers of children with disabilities facing housing precarity.

If you missed the session, don’t worry—here’s a quick recap of what we covered:

  • How to Fill Out the Form: We walked through the step-by-step process of completing your submission, ensuring your story and vision for ending housing precarity are heard.
  • Becoming a Community Champion: We encouraged participants to become champions in their communities, empowering others to share their experiences and advocate for change.
  • Resources and Support: From our detailed slide deck to the recorded webinar, we’ve got you covered with everything you need to get started.
